E-number E180 Pigment Rubine, Lithol Rubine BK

E180 is a synthetic azo dye, reddish in colour used solely for colouring the rind of hard cheeses. When it E180 is used in this fashion it is a ingredient and will not appear as e-number e180 on the declaration.
